If you're going to translate things at this rate, then please stop. I might as well learn Japanese because that would be quicker than the time it takes you guys to translate this shit.
Maybe we don't just translate for you. Maybe some other people wouldn't like us to stop. Seriously, learn Japanese if that's what you want, or any other language except English since they all have Heidi.
It's alright. I understand his anger. It's really annoying to wait so much for the next episode. But I have my life filled with too much work. I even work most of the weekends to the point that sometimes I arrive home just to fall asleep till the next day. Also, I have to do the timers for the 3 series and translate to my native language (Portuguese). I've said since the beginning, that it would take time to sub the entire series. The only thing I promised is that I would sub them till the end. And I intend to keep that promise.
Try not to work too much (only if you don't really need to of course)I understand people being impatient since not many people care to sub these series..I'm even more impatient since I'm waiting for you to start on Tom Sawyer:p On the other hand, people shouldn't forget everybody has a life, some busier than others.
Just a question: The Heidi subs from Heidifan didn't come timed to the audio?I thought that was a must to be able to make a proper translation. Then I can understand why it would take time to finish every episode (apart from the translation to Portugese). Then again, it would be difficult to time to a language you don't know. Does the person who knows Japanese you mentioned earlier on the site ("Moho Kareshi") go through and check the translation as well? Thanks for taking on this series.ericf
Heidifan subs are in Word.So we have to pass everything to .ass and time each line.As for the translation, it seams it's was taken from a Spanish dub. So I'm using the Spanish dubbed episodes to know were everything fits.So it's probably not a 100% good translation, as it was taken from dubbed episodes, but its all we got. We weren't able to find anyone interested in translating Heidi for some reason.
Okay, then I understand why it would take even longer to time the episodes. And while it is taken from the Spanish dub or the Portugese dub (Heidifan doesn't say which on his blog), there are a number of differences between this translation and the other one in progress. Most are in favor of this one because it's obvious that Heidifan must have listened to the Japanese track as well and must have some knowledge of Japanese (or else the translator he hired to finish the series watched all of it and made edits). Therefore it's more literal than the other one.Keep up the good work.Erik Nilsson

Can someone please seed the bluray version of 31 and 30. Thanks.
Hi, great work, we really appreciate this effort! Can you please tell us when will there be more releases of Heidi sub, or at least are they planned?
I'll release some more Heidi episodes soon.
I guess I'm a late bloomer. But when I stumbled across this gem, I didn't waste a single breath to start downloading. I downloaded 1 episode to make sure it had subs. And to my eternal bliss, it did :D . The first syllable that angel Heidi uttered, I almost welled up. Oh, those marvelous days of yesteryear when I never missed an episode. Earlier, I had downloaded the entire series, but they don't have any subs. But I treasure them hoping some day, some good Samaritan shall be our saviour and do the godly deed of subbing this beautiful series. And then you showed up and we (patient Heidi Lovers) were saved. Involuntarily, you've given me a wonderful gift. No amount of "thank you" would be enough to express my gratitude. But still, THANK YOU.PS: As for guys complaining about waiting for the next subbed episode, well, I guess to each his/her own. Some are too ecstatic to extend their waiting period, while some, like me, who have waited for more than a decade (believe me, I have), can wait a little longer.
pleeeaaasseeee seed this episode, someone! downloaded around 30 MB at a great speed and then it just stopped all of a sudden because there is nobody to seed :( Please seed! :D
thank you for seeding! managed to download the whole thing finally! But now there are no seeds on the next 32 onwards set :(
