R.I.P. Isao Takahata
I know this is not a news site, but I had to share this extremely sad news.
Isao Takahata, the creator of such amazing works like Alsp no Shoujo Heidi, Akage no Anne, 3000 Leagues in Search of Mother, Grave of the Fireflies, Princess Kaguya, Etc... has passed away in 05-04-2018 in the hospital due to heart problems. If if wasn't for this wonderfull person we probably woudn't have World Masterpiece Theater or Studio Ghibli. I will never forget him or his wonderfull works. Rest in peace.
Rest in peace our beloved friend.
ReplyDeleteYou have nothing to worry about on the other side with your splendid resume.
Really sad news :( Really love his works that I have seen.
ReplyDeleteI am downloading the Heidi series from BakaBT right now. Apparently the video quality may be slightly better on the other release there. Do you still have the separate sub tracks for it available?
Thanks again.
I think I do. I have to look for it in my Blu-Rays.
DeleteIf you want them I can send them to you in a zip file.

ReplyDeleteHi Silver
ReplyDeleteCould you please remove these agency entries from memorial thread of late Mr Takahata. It is a shame whoever posted those did not have the decency to respect it.
All the best
Done. Thanks.
